Microwavable cherry pit heat wrap in red plaid flannel fabric. Large, long cherry pit heat wrap perfect for neck, shoulders and joints. The log wraps measure approximately 5 X 17 inches before filling. I hand craft this item in my soap studio using top quality cleaned dried cherry stones.

For many decades, distillery workers in Switzerland would hang bags of cherry pits on the factory stoves. During the long work day, the pits would heat up. They would carry them home, using them to ease the muscles in their neck, shoulders and backs after a long day at their hard labors – simply a comfort item.

I offer a full line of various sizes, shapes, fabrics and choice of natural unscented or enhanced with aromatherapy herbs. This item is natural just cherry pits no herbs. As a natural untreated product, these cherry pit wraps have a slight cherry aroma.
After a few minutes in the microwave, your Allegheny Hearth cherry pit wrap is ready to apply providing a soothing moist heat ready for application. I like to use it as a warm cuddly on cold winter nights, a great bed warmer as well.
Cherry pits are a premium filler for heat packs. They provide a wonderful moist heat and retain that heat longer. No inexpensive fillers like corn, rice, barley are used as these other types can attract unwanted pests and are subject to rancidity.
While there is no added fragrance, you will notice a slight cherry fragrance from the natural fruit stones.
Heat in the microwave or store in freezer. Great moist heat soother for aches and pains as well as a cuddly warmer for cold winter nights.
I offer free pick up for local Altoona, PA customers at Fiore Hardware. If you place a local pick up order, I will fill your order and leave it with the cashier at the store for you to pick up at your convenience. Shipping charges are estimated at the highest rate. I ship USPS priority mail. I charge the actual postage fees. Any shipping overcharges will be automatically refunded.

Shipping Policy
Regular stock orders are packed within 30 hours of payment and shipped the next business morning. I ship USPS, UPS or Fed Ex choosing the lowest price option for your order. I will ship to the address you provide at the time of checkout. If you want your purchase shipped to a different address, please leave me a note immediately as I often ship within an hour of receiving your payment. I charge the actual shipping fees or less. Shipping is calculated at the highest rate. Any overcharge on shipping over one dollar will be refunded when I print the shipping label.
Due to the nature of my my items – international regulations, taxes and import fees – I am no longer offering international shipments.
Free samples are included with every sale.

You can place your order and I will leave them at the register for you to pick up at your convenience. You can pay on line or when you pick up your order. If you paid any postage, I will refund it in full as there will be no postage charges if you prefer to pick up your order at the store.
Pennsylvania residents will be charged 6% sales tax.

I will always refund any overcharges in postage fees once I print the shipping label and get the actual postage price. I only charge the price of shipping, there are no added handling charges.

Unrefined Shea Butter is 100% natural and absolutely no chemicals are used in the processing. This shea butter is processed by a fair trade womens co-op in Ghana Africa and is shipped fresh, ready to use. No preservatives or additives of any kind are used in my pure unrefined shea.
The high quality unrefined shea butter is processed using the laborious traditional method. The hand-collected nuts are similar in size to almonds. The nuts are removed from their shell and placed in a large mortar, pounded by hand to shred and then ground with a stone to a fine paste. The paste is initially the color of dark chocolate. It is washed with water for a number of times until the chocolate color turns into the rich creamy color of the final product. At that point it is boiled in a clarifier to reduce the moisture before being packaged for shipping.
I add no fragrance to this Organic Virgin Shea Butter. You will find this butter to be ivory to greenish/grey in color. The aroma is slightly smoky, grassy, nutty.
I also offer ultra refined shea butters in unscented as well as a variety of fragrances.
