WHY DESERT BRONZE:
Desert Bronze was formulated after 13 years of self tanning experience. From towelettes, lotion, sprays.. everything was tested. I found that mousse was the only way to go when it comes to self tanning. Easy application and streak free. But finding the perfect product was impossible. From orange skin to the typical self tanner smell, to those embarrassing streaks… Enough was enough.
This product spent a year in production making sure that all expectations were met. A flawless dark color after ONE application that leaves you a natural tone (NOT ORANGE). You are streak free and no awkward phase between the next application.
Q&A:
Q: How do I prep before my application?
A: Shower, exfoliate, shave, and dry skin completely. DO NOT apply any lotion or oils to skin before application if you want the area tan.
Q: How do I apply it?
A: Apply 1-2 pumps of foam to a mitt. Apply to one body part at a time. (I personally start with my chest/neck, then to arms, stomach, thighs, lower legs, hands/feet, face and lastly my back) Apply in a circular motion. Apply lightly to the following areas: Face, hands, ankles, knees, and elbows.
Q: How often do I need to apply it?
A: One coat of Desert Bronze will last 5-7 days. If you want a very consistent dark tan with no fade time I suggest every 4 days.
Q: Will it fade or get patchy like most self tanners?
A: Like any self tanner it will fade with time. There is not patchy phase with Desert Bronze.
Q: I have waited to long before reapplying or I have several coats and want a fresh start?
A: If you have any dark patches due to dryer areas of skin and you want to remove the tan, you have applied and applied over a long period of time and want it all off for a new start, or have waited too long before reapplying and want a fresh start.. Soak in the tub or long shower, use your favorite scrub ( not necessary) and an exfoliating mitt or loufa. Scrub vigorously. The new tan application will cover and distribute very well if not all tan is removed!! Do not stress.. Just add more tan! Trust me!
Q:When can I shower?
A: Please allow 6-8 hours before showering after application.
Q: How long does it take to dry on skin?
A: Tan application will dry within 3-5 minutes.
Q: Will it come off on my clothes?
A: Only if you immediately put on clothing before allowing to fully dry. If you do not rinse tan and your skin or clothing gets wet or you sweat. But only in this instance.
Q: Will it sweat off??
A: If you are wearing very tight clothing and are sweating extensively the tan will want to rub off like any self tanner or spray tan. But do not stress. Simply shower, exfoliate in the general area and reapply as directed above.
Q: The color is dark but I want EVEN DARKER?
A: No problem!! Either apply a second coat on first application or after showering (6-8 hours after application) simply apply another coat!
Q: Why use a mitt?
A: I have had tan palms too many times. Please USE A MITT!! You will achieve a streak free tan with clean palms this way!
Q: How do I maintain my tan?
A: Do not scrub body unless you exfoliating for new application. Wash lightly with soap. Using a daily moisturizing lotion will greatly improve the life time of your tan. When drying off DO NOT RUB roughly.
Q: Will it rinse off in the shower??
A: Like ANY self tanner or spray tan.. the solution will wash off BUT will leave you with a flawless, dark tan.
Q: Does Desert Bronze expire?
A: Yes, BUT NOT UNTIL YOU HAVE HAD IT A YEAR! 12 month shelf life
Q: Is it safe?
A: Desert Bronze is one of very few self tanning products that is 100% Vegan, organic and PETA approved. No harmful additives!
Shipping Policy
We ship USPS. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number and projected delivery date.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES: Malibu & Co. is not responsible for lost/stolen packages, packages sent to the wrong address or refunding/replacing lost packages that have not been delivered. However, we will work with you to try and locate the package. In the rare instance, your package is lost or missing, I would suggest calling your local Post Office and providing them with the tracking number that was emailed to you or you may file a Missing Mail & Lost Package Claim via USPS Here: https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm
All claims will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Claims may take up to 4 weeks to process. Once USPS responds we will be able to determine how to move forward. In the meantime, please be patient with us as we work with USPS. Filing a claim does not guarantee USPS will partially or fully compensate/reimburse you for your lost/stolen package, but we will do our best to assist you through the process. Once packages are placed in the hands of USPS our access to information is very limited. In some cases, it can take up to 7 business days for USPS to deliver the package to be delivered after it has been marked delivered. Please allow that amount of time before reaching out. Packages that show the package was delivered at the correct address via GPS tracking from USPS, must accompany a police report to be considered for a replacement.
SHIPPING TIME FRAME: Our normal shipping time is 3-5 BUSINESS Days. For made to order signs, 7-10 days.
CORRECT ADDRESSES: Please verify before checkout that the address you have entered or that auto-populates from PayPal is correct. We are not responsible for packages mailed to incorrect addresses. If your package is returned back to us for an incorrect address, please email us at: nicole@malibuandco.com and we can invoice you for the additional shipping costs to re-mail your package to the correct address.

ORDERING: You are responsible for ordering the correct size and quantity you need. Since I usually only order exactly what you pre-order, I usually don’t have extras to trade and exchange. Please double check your size, neck style, color (if applicable) before checking out. Also, the item description includes all necessary details of the shirt including, but not limited to, Brand, Color, Fit, Sizing Info, etc. Please review the description prior to checkout to clear up any confusion. After an order has been placed, we cannot cancel the order.
PRE-ORDERS: Pre-Orders are items that we only order what everyone has stated what they want, I cannot accept exchanges/returns. To ensure that you are ordering the correct size, I recommend trying on the shirts before you pre-order a size to make sure that it will fit you well! RETURNS/REFUNDS/EXCHANGES: Due to our constantly changing stock, we are ONLY able to offer store credit for items. Items MUST be mailed back to us within 14 days of delivery date of the package. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: I always suggest washing on cold water, inside out and hang dry. Shirts with crystals, wash on cold water inside out and hang dry. Any items with glitter, rhinestones, etc. I would recommend washing inside out. Any items with foil should be hand washed, no iron and hang dry to preserve the life and beauty of the foil. Any items labeled as acid wash or oil rubbed should be washed separately the first wash in cold water inside out and hang dry. Acid wash tees have a tendency to get softer a little thinner the more they are washed.
