This bowl is made from hickory which is the heaviest of the American hardwoods and is used in furniture, flooring and sporting goods such as baseball bats.

The rough lumber is sourced within the Appalachian area from suppliers that practice sustainable forestry and ethical harvesting techniques that focus on the long term health of our forests.

The Bowl is 8″ in diameter and 1-3/4″ tall.

The finish is polyurethane and is food grade once it has a full 30 day to cure. This piece is beyond the 30n days and has fully cured.

Care: Do not microwave, place in dishwasher or submerge in water. Wipe clean with soap and warm water, rinse and wipe dry.
